BS/2 Kazakhstan, a subsidiary of the Lithuanian Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2) company, signed an agreement with one of the largest banks in the country, Sberbank – according to which BS/2 Kazakhstan will provide servicing of the Sberbank-run unattended devices‘ network.
BS/2 and Sberbank have been cooperating since 2006. During those years more than 500 ATMs were delivered; in early 2017, the advanced VTM.iQ hardware-software platforms were installed in two Sberbank branches in Astana and Almaty, allowing live video consulting with the bank‘s employees, as well as opening and closing the account, checking its balance, cash withdrawal and deposit, obtaining a bank card, currency exchange and paying various bills.
Currently, the Sberbank network in Kazakhstan has 16 subsidiaries and 67 branches spread throughout the country. It has been successfully operating in the Kazakh financial market for 11 years already, and is included in Top 5 of core banks.
